OptionFunds Trading Rules

These rules apply to all evaluation accounts. Drawdown is calculated using the lower of account balance or equity.

Phase 1 Target 10%
Phase 2 Target 5%
Daily Loss Limit 5%
Maximum Loss Limit 10%

1. Profit Targets

  • Phase 1 target: 10% of the original account size.
  • Phase 2 target: 5% of the original account size.
  • Only closed profit counts toward a target.
  • The account must remain within all loss limits.

2. Daily Loss Limit

The daily loss limit is 5% of the original account size. Both closed losses and floating losses count immediately.

  • The system uses the lower of current balance or current equity.
  • The daily breach level is the daily starting balance minus 5% of the original account size.
  • Reaching or going below the daily breach level is an immediate breach.
  • Keeping a losing trade open does not prevent a breach.
Example: On a $2,000 account, the daily loss limit is $100. If the day starts at $2,000, the account breaches when balance or equity reaches $1,900.

3. Maximum Loss Limit

The maximum loss limit is fixed at 10% of the original account size. Both balance and equity are monitored continuously.

  • The system uses the lower of current balance or current equity.
  • The maximum breach level is the original account size minus 10%.
  • Reaching or going below the maximum breach level is an immediate breach.
  • Floating losses cannot be held open to avoid the rule.
Example: On a $2,000 account, the maximum loss limit is $200. The account breaches when balance or equity reaches $1,800.

4. Trading Practices

Allowed

  • Manual trading
  • News trading
  • Overnight holding

Not Allowed

  • Copy trading or trade copiers
  • Account sharing or third-party trading
  • Exploiting pricing or platform errors

5. Funded Account and Profit Split

  • After successfully completing Phase 1 and Phase 2, the trader receives a funded account.
  • The trader receives 90% of the profit generated on the funded account.
  • KYC verification and account review must be completed before an eligible payout is processed.
Reaching a daily or maximum loss limit is an immediate breach. Open trades, floating losses, closed losses, commissions, and fees may affect balance or equity.
