Legal basis

The legal basis depends on the user's location and activity. It may include performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, legitimate interests in security and fraud prevention, and consent where required for optional cookies, advertising, or particular identity checks.

Consent may be withdrawn for processing based on consent, but withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing and may make an optional feature unavailable.

Service providers and disclosures

Information may be shared only as necessary with providers supporting hosting, authentication, databases, file storage, email, payment processing, blockchain payment confirmation, security, analytics, advertising, and customer support.

Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect users or the platform, to investigate fraud or abuse, or as part of a legitimate business transfer with appropriate safeguards.

KYC documents should not be shared with referrers, other traders, public leaderboards, advertisers, or unrelated parties.

Cookies and advertising

Public informational pages may use Google AdSense. Google and advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver, limit, measure, or personalize ads, subject to the user's location, consent choices, and Google settings.

Necessary cookies may be used for authentication and security. Non-essential advertising or analytics technologies should not be activated where consent is legally required until a compliant choice has been recorded.

Retention

Information is kept only for as long as needed for its purpose, account administration, payment and payout records, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, security, and applicable legal obligations.

  • Account information may be retained while the account is active and for a reasonable period after closure.
  • Payment, refund, withdrawal, and complaint records may be retained for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, and dispute purposes.
  • KYC information should be deleted or anonymized when no longer needed, unless retention is required by law or necessary for a documented fraud or dispute purpose.
  • Retention periods should be reviewed regularly and recorded in an internal schedule.

Security

OptionFunds uses access controls, authenticated account access, administrator authorization, encryption in transit, restricted document review, audit records, and operational safeguards intended to reduce unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or loss.

No online service can guarantee absolute security. Users should use a unique password, protect credentials, review wallet details, and report suspicious activity immediately.

Your privacy rights

Depending on applicable law, users may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, withdraw consent, or receive a portable copy of personal information. Identity verification may be required before fulfilling a request.

Requests can be sent to support.optionfunds@gmail.com. Some information may be retained where required by law or needed for security, fraud prevention, legal claims, or transaction records.

International processing

Service providers and platform systems may process information in more than one country. Where required, the operator should use contractual, organizational, or legal safeguards appropriate to the transfer.

Children

OptionFunds is not intended for a person who cannot legally enter the applicable contract. The platform should not knowingly collect identity documents from children. Suspected child data should be reported for review and deletion where legally appropriate.
